Fujifilm India announced the availability of its all new next-gen 3D digital camera along with its two top-end digital camera models in the Indian market. Other additions to Fujifilm’s product range are its newest top-end compact 15x zoom FinePix F300EXR, which is equipped with the world’s first “Phase Detection pixel built-in CCD” that realizes Auto Focus speed of 0.158 sec, as fast as human eyes blink and Z800EXR, a touch screen camera with new Hybrid Auto Focus System.
Fujifilm, which brought to India world’s first 3D digital camera -- FinePix REAL 3D W1 -- in August 2009, has introduced the FinePix REAL 3D W3 as the world's first camera that can capture High Definition 3D movies. Smaller, lighter, improved and now in superb HD, the FinePix W3 is fully compatible with ALL 3D TVs.

Samsung Electronics has announced the NX10 – its new digital camera that will be on display during the 2010 International Consumer Electronics Show, January 7-10, in the Samsung booth #11026 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The NX10 incorporates a fast auto focus (AF), 14.6 MP APS-C size CMOS sensor and large 3.0” AMOLED screen, allowing users to easily view their images, even in bright sunlight. Users can also record in HD movie. Available in two colors, Noble Black and Titan Silver, the Samsung NX10 is small, light and ergonomically designed to ensure maximum portability for everyday use.

Samsung's latest innovation, the new DRIMe II Pro engine and advanced AF algorithm, also provide ultra fast AF speed with the higher precision of contrast AF.

The Samsung NX10 integrates the APS-C size CMOS sensor with a mirrorless interchangeable lens, for a sleek, lightweight camera that users can easily take with them everywhere they go.

Other features include, Auto Scene Mode, which when activated, includes the following three shooting-assist functions:
  • Intelligent ISO Control prevents the blurring of a moving subject by optimizing shutter speed and ISO settings to render sharp, clear images. On the LUMIX F3, unwanted red-eyes are digitally corrected and backlight compensation automatically activates.
  • Face Detection helps to clearly capture registered faces and focus on faces with the appropriate exposure. This is helpful when trying to focus on one person within a group.
  • Intelligent Scene Selector automatically selects one of six scene modes that best suits the shooting situation -- Macro, Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, Night Scenery.
Additionally, the Panasonic LUMIX F3 also has a Digital Image Stabilizer which helps suppress hand-shake and prevent blurry photos. The Panasonic LUMIX F3 has an auto power LCD function which detects light conditions and automatically boosts the LCD backlighting by a maximum of 40% when shooting outdoors to secure clarity and visibility of the screen. In addition to supporting conventional SD/SDHC Memory Cards, the LUMIX F3 is compatible with SDXC Memory Cards, including Panasonic's newly announced 48 GB and 64 GB SDXC Memory Cards -- to enable high capacity content storage and fast data transfer speeds. The LUMIX F3 is compatible with Windows 7.

The 2010 Consumer Electronics Show, better known as CES, has been held annually for over 40 years now. The first CES took place in New York City in 1967.
