Casio Introduces EXILIM EX-H20G with Hybrid GPS System

Casio has introduced its latest and also the world’s first digital camera with Hybrid GPS system, the EXILIM EX-H20G. This new system combines GPS with automatic positioning that enables geotagging of photos and videos even if you are indoors.

The EXILIM EX-H20G digital camera features a 3-inch 460K LCD(960 x 480) display, a 14.1 megapixel sensor that supported by new exilim Engine HS, ISO sensitivity range of 80 to 3200, it has 10x 10x(24-240mm) zoom lens, and this digital camera capable to shoot 720p HD videos.
The EXILIM EX-H20G also features a built-in CCD-shift image stabilization and various useful functions such as auto-time adjustment which will automatically synchronize the camera’s date and time which mean this digital camera also will provide you current location and time zone.
In case when you are indoor and lost the signal from GPS satellites, the system consecutively tracks the user’s location “by employing an original algorithm” utilizing a three-way accelerometer and a three-way direction sensor,  and when you get a new GPS signal, the system automatically updates the positional information of the indoor location.
The Casio EXILIM EX-H20G digital camera comes with a world atlas with detailed maps of 140 world cities that allow you to track your current position on the maps, so this digital camera will be a perfect mate for your travel. It support a USB, mini HDMI connectors and rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.
The Casio EXILIM EX-H20G digital camera expected to be available in November 2010 with price for $349.99.
