The tablet computer industry has already established an ecosystem and robust industry, with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), component suppliers, software developers, service providers, and IP and content owners all profiting from it.
The tablet industry reinvented itself last year thanks largely to the Apple iPad, and subsequently, more companies are now releasing tablets on to the market.
