Blackberry tends to produce more phones with QWERTY keyboard rather than touch screen. However, Blackberry is going to launch Blackberry Monaco Touch to accommodate people who love touch screen phones.
The Blackberry Monaco Touch is a mobile phone with touch screen that measures 120 x 62 x 11.5mm. This phone uses GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and CDMA 800/1900/UMTS2100/CDMA20001xEV-DO Mhz.
The Blackberry Monaco Touch is equipped with a 3.7-inch TFT touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 16 M colors. The screen also has Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation, and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off. The phone is great for people who love photography. The Blackberry Monaco Touch has a 5.0 MP camera with 2592.0 x 1944.0 pixels image resolution, LED flash, auto focus, and video recording. People can use this camera to capture beautiful moments easily.
The Blackberry Monaco Touch offers Bluetooth V2.1 with EDR, A2DP, micro USB v2.0, and Wi-Fi. Some sources say that this phone will have 3G, with GPRS and EDGE.
The touch screen phone has a phonebook that allow its users to store unlimited entries and photo call. The Blackberry Monaco Touch has 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB. The users of this phone can store lots of valuable data. The RAM of this phone is around 768 MB.
The Blackberry Monaco Touch uses OS 6.1, 1.2GHz processor. The phone has other interesting features like HTML browser, A-GPS, downloadable games, digital compass, document editor, NFC support, MP3 and MP4 player, voice memo, predictive text input, and many more.
The Blackberry Monaco Touch will be available in black color, and it will be available in the market in June 30 2011. So far, there is no information regarding the price of this phone.
