Latest and Amazing (HP G50-102NR) Laptop

HP G50-102NR laptop is one of the models from the HP Pavilion G50 series. HP Pavilion is a line of entertainment laptops and notebook, meaning they have great video graphics, external ports so you can connect your system to a TV or a bigger screen, which presents an amazing screen quality. HP G50-102NRlaptop is powered by the 2.00 GHz AMD Sempron SI-40 Single-Core Processor, it would have been nice to see a dual-core processor, as they are powerful and provide a greater speed when running multiple applications and tasks but this one is useful as well. AMD processors are less expensive and maybe this is the reason why HP decided to go for this one. But the good news is that it has 2GB of RAM and 4GB is the maximum you can install. With the 2GB provided you will enjoy multitasking and Windows Vista will work great. Video graphics provided are NVIDIA GeForce 8200M, with a video memory up to 895MB.



The hard drive provides the basic space of 120 GB, for some this might not be enough and they might consider getting an external hard drive to store all their important files and keep the one inside just for their daily tasks. There is also the possibility of writing down your files on DVDs and thus have them packed safely, and with the SuperMulti 8X DVD±R/RW with Double Layer Support, everything is done simplier and easier.

The display presents a size of 15.4", High Definition with BrightView technology and a native resolution of 1280x800. According to HP, this new technology enables a better image quality; you will take advantage of bright colors and more vivid images. The sound is provided by the Altec Lansing speakers, and they proved to sound reasonable, but in any case you can always turn around to your headphones.



It’s easy to establish a network and always stay connected to the Internet, because with this laptop you have it all: a high speed 56K modem, integrated 10/100 Ethernet LAN and wireless LAN 802.11 b/g WLAN. The system measures 14.05" (L) x 10.2" (D) x 1.37" (min H)/1.65" (max H) and weights 5.83lbs. it weights a bit, but if you get a comfortable laptop backpack or a stylish case you should be able to transport it easily. The keyboard is full size, keys are nicely spaced and typing is quite comfortable. As for external ports, HP g50-102nr has all you need as it follows: a 5-in-1 integrated Digital Media Reader, three USB ports, one VGA, HDMI, and ports for modem, LAN, one microphone-out and one microphone-in.

The 6-cell Lithium-Ion allows you enjoy a cable-free experience for about 2-3 hours, mostly depending on what applications you run. There are a couple of tricks that will provide a longer battery life, such as unplugging external devices you don’t use or closing any tabs or applications that you don’t use. The operating system is Windows Vista Home Basic and for security, Norton Internet Security 2008 is also pre-installed.
