AMD showed up at CeBIT 2011 with their latest flagship, the HD6990. They even unveiled some images of the card itself. It seemed that this will be the new flagship of AMD in 2011, butthey didn’t mention specifically when it’ll be available, or how much. The HD6990 was even demonstrated in a transparent closed case. Nvidia is said to be unveiling their ‘counter attack’ shortly after AMD launched this dual-GPU beast, so let’s wait and see how this furious battle will turn out. The AMD Radeon HD 6990 will be shipping on March 8, 2011.
